The ABC recently held their hottest 100 for Piano…and many pieces will be familiar to my students! coming in at No 3 were the Chopin Nocturnes; No 7 was the eternal fave from Satie.. the Gymnopedie; No 12 was Spiegel im Spiegel by Arvo Part. The Satie Gnossiennes, The Carnival of the Animals and Comptine from Amelie all made it into the 20s! Here is the full list!
